On je bio slobodan u prvom kolu, a u drugom je trebalo da sačeka pobednika meča između Filipa Krajinovića i Nikoloza Basilašvilija.
Ovo će svakako pomoći Novaku Đokoviću da dođe do trofeja u Monte Karlu.
